To search for data within the Hoosier Riverwatch database, please follow the steps beginning on this page. Each step narrows your search. It is suggested that first time users follow these steps. If you would like to search specifically by county, river/stream, or organization, use our Advanced Data Search Engine.

WARNING: If you are using Netscape you will not be able to print your search results directly from your browser. This is an inherent problem with Netscape that should be fixed when the next versions of the browsers come out. Until then, you can still print your results by downloading the text version of your search and then printing it out in Excel. Internet Explorer users should have no printing problems.

STEP 1. Watershed

Select a specific watershed from the drop down menu (use the map to locate 8-digit watersheds in Indiana). All streams are part of a larger watershed, so locate the watershed that you believe holds the stream or river data you are looking for. If you are not sure what watershed your stream is located, you may look it up here. When you have selected the watershed, click on the "Continue" button. You must select a watershed in order to proceed.
